Marie Beck has been clowning around for over 25 years as “Mischief the Clown” starting in a church setting then branching out to birthday and corporate events. She has even done mission work in the U.S., Ecuador and Bosnia. Marie was invited to perform at the White House for the Easter Egg Roll in 1991.

Marie has taught many of the local clowns in the art of clowning and has a reputation for being an outstanding face-painter, balloon artist and mentor.  As part of Clowns on Rounds, “Dr. Funnybones” works in area hospitals.  As “DeLight” she performs with the Joyful Joeys, a Christian Clown Troupe.

Marie has won many high and top honors for costuming, makeup, balloon competition and skit competition nationally and internationally. In 1999, she was awarded the “Clown of the Year” award from Clown of America International (COAI), one of the most prestigious awards a clown can achieve.
